Il tè nero di Ceylon che vi proponiamo viene dal giardino di Sarnia, nel distretto di Badulla nel Sud-Est dello Sri Lanka. I tè di queste regioni crescono ad un altitudine media, tra i 600-800 m slm e sono noti per il gusto pieno con sentori caldi; questa selezione presenta foglie grandi e allungate con qualche gemma terminale non ancora schiusa; ha un gusto forte e intenso, un aroma fresco e un colore rossastro. È un classico tè adatto alla prima colazione o al pomeriggio accompagnato da dolci.
